Referrals to the Long Covid Service are via GP only.
Contact your GP if you have had symptoms of Covid-19 for 4 weeks or more and are worried.
Your GP will ask you about your symptoms and how they are impacting your daily life.
They may suggest some tests to find out more about the symptoms and rule out other things that could be causing them.
These might include:
- blood tests
- checking blood pressure and heart rate
- a chest X-ray
- measuring oxygen levels
Your GP will talk about the care and support you might need.
Following this, you may be given advice about how to manage and monitor symptoms at home or a referral will be made into the Long Covid Service for specialist support and advice.
