Here you will find the presentations the Let’s Talk team use in classrooms when delivering RSE topics.
Within the presentations there will be descriptions of how the lesson is delivered including how the activities are used. There are also additional teaching notes to support the understanding of why certain messages are given to young people, and links to the UK curriculum. Please note some of these topics are delivered to specific year groups only and are not suitable for all ages. The sessions are evidence based, curriculum informed and are NHS quality assured. They are considered to be age and stage appropriate for the year group they are intended for.
These sessions are generally suitable for year 9 upwards, however we believe its never too early to introduce topics in an age appropriate way, and there are many benefits to starting these conversations early and building upon them over the years.
When delivering these sessions, the team carefully plans and adapts the content to suit different age groups. Sessions can be simplified to ensure they are age-appropriate for Year 7 and 8 students, or tailored to provide more depth and complexity for students in Year 10 and above.
