Puberty is when your body and brain go through changes to go from being a child to an adult. These changes are different for everyone and are caused by chemicals in our bodies called hormones.

Most of the time people are having sex for pleasure, so it’s important to know how to keep safe to avoid any unplanned pregnancies or sexually transmitted infections.

Misogyny refers to hatred of, or prejudice towards women and things associated with women and femininity.

A period, also called menstruation, is part of the menstrual cycle when blood and other cells from the lining of the uterus come out of the vagina roughly once a month for 2 to 7 days.

Consent means someone giving their permission or agreement to something that involves them.

Sending nudes is when someone sends a sexual image of themselves to another person. This is often thought to mean sending fully naked photos, but can also include semi-nude, topless or sexually explicit photos or videos.

Relationships are important to help us to keep happy and healthy but can also come with challenges and it’s important to recognise what a healthy relationship looks like.
