Who we are
Our Bladder and Bowel Service supports children and young people who experience bladder and bowel problems.
How to access the service
Your child can be referred into the service by their health visitor, school nurse or GP.
Once a referral is received we will make contact with you to arrange an assessment appointment with one of our continence nurses. It will either be by telephone or at one of our clinics across Wirral.

Home Delivery Service for Continence pads
You might need to use continence pads or products to help manage your problem. The service works in partnership with a third party containment product supplier, NHS Supply Chain to provide a home delivery service from Monday – Friday (excluding bank holidays) for the products you need. This could be for one-off orders or for repeat orders.
Your orders will be delivered in discreet packaging. If you want to activate your next order please call NHS Supply Chain Home Delivery service on 0800 030 4466 and press * (the star key). Please have your pin number ready to activate your order. If you do not know your pin number don’t worry – you will be directed to a customer service advisor.
If you no longer require products, wish to cancel your products or find that they are no longer suitable, contact the Bladder and Bowel Service on 0151 514 2222 or email [email protected].
