Afasic supports and provides information for families with children and young adults who have Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) with a focus on Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
Speech and Language UK has a child progress checker which asks questions on attention and listening, understanding, talking, speech and social communication based on the child’s age. It directs the parent/carer to helpful resources based on the answers. The website also has information on signs and symptoms, ages and stages and a resource library for families.
