Centralised booking service (CBS) inputs referrals for the following services:
• Children’s Bladder and Bowel
• Adult Bladder and Bowel
• Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (MSK)
• Podiatry (foot care)
• Rehab at Home
• Pelvic Health
• Weight Management
• Adult Dietetics
• Adult Speech and Language Therapy (SALT)
CBS accepts referrals for the above services from GPs, internal referrals, consultants, community nurses and out of area hospitals.
Referral Process
Access to these services are via one single contact number: Tel 0151 514 2222 – option 1. Available 7 days a week, 8.00am – 8.00pm.
We provide staff who cover reception duties at both Eastham Walk in Centre between 12.00 – 8.00pm
7 days per week and the Intermediate Care Suite between 8.30 – 3.30pm.
CBS also call handle for the following services:
• Podiatry (foot care)
• Pelvic Health
• Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (MSK)
• Adult Bladder and Bowel
• Children’s Bladder and Bowel
• Adult Dietetics

• GP Out of hours
• Community Nursing
• North West Ambulance service calls from paramedics who are with patients and are required to speak to a GP
