Pan Mersey:
The legacy Pan Mersey website has closed. Everything can now be found either in the legacy Pan Mersey Formulary, the new Cheshire and Merseyside Formulary or the ICB website.
Measles:
There is an increase in cases in our region and it is extremely infectious. One person with measles can infect 15 to 20 unimmunised people. 15 minutes direct contact with someone infected with measles is sufficient to transmit the virus.
Measles is not just a childhood disease and can be serious at any age.
The NHS has launched a campaign to urge parents and carers to book their children in for their missed measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine. This is part of a major new NHS drive to protect children from becoming seriously unwell, as measles cases continue to rise across the country. The campaign also encourages pregnant women and young people to catch up on missed doses of the vaccine.
